Terms and Conditions
By entering this promotion, you accept and agree to be bound by the following terms
and conditions.
- This promotion is run by TomTom Sales B.V. ("Promoter"), a company registered
in the Netherlands, whose address is at Rembrandtplein 35, 1017 CT, Amsterdam, the

- The promotion is open to residents of the UK (including Channel Islands and Isle
of Man) aged 18 or over only, excluding employees and their immediate families,
of the Promoter, its agents or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion
and/or the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of
entrants and check their identity.
- This offer is for £50, £40 or £30 worth of fuel in the form of a prepaid payment
card issued by Citibank Europe plc ("Citibank"), exclusively for customers
of TomTom UK, who have purchased a promotional TomTom GO940 LIVE, GO740 LIVE and
GO540 LIVE ("Promotional Product"), respectively, featuring the free fuel
offer on or before 31st March 2009. For the avoidance of doubt, the Promoter does
not provide, is not selling, and does not sell, prepaid payment cards and is solely
providing the opportunity for participants of the promotion to enter into a contract
with Citibank to receive a prepaid payment card.
- This offer must be claimed and received between thirty (30) and sixty (60) days
from the date of purchase of the Promotional Product AND IN ANY EVENT PRIOR TO 3OTH
MAY 2009. A copy of the original purchase receipt is required to verify the purchase
date and validity of the claim. Please note that the offer cannot be claimed within
the first thirty (30) days from the date of purchase of the Promotional Product.
- No purchase (other than the purchase of the relevant TomTom goods as specified
in paragraph 3 above) is necessary in order to enter this promotion. There is no
fee charged to enter the promotion other than the cost of you accessing the internet
and posting the required materials to us. You will be responsible for all costs
and expenses relating to your participation in the promotion, such as the cost of
you accessing the internet and any other costs and expenses of you using the prepaid
payment card.
- This offer can only be redeemed online at
www.tomtompromotions.co.uk/freefuel and may not be used in conjunction with
any other offer or promotion.
- To claim your TomTom pre paid fuel debit card, make a note of the unique offer
code printed on the inside of the promotional box cover wrap, then visit
www.tomtompromotions.co.uk/freefuel and complete the application form in full.
You will be required to supply a valid email address. Please note, you will not
be able to complete the online form before 30 days or after 60 days have elapsed
from the date of purchase shown on your receipt.
- You will be sent an email confirming your application. Print the application confirmation
email and send it together with a copy of the original purchase receipt, along with
the part of the promotional box cover wrap containing the unique reference number
to: TomTom Free Fuel offer, Dept No – 5633, PO Box 99, Aylesbury, HP19 8RR.
- Claims will not be processed if they are received before thirty (30) days have
elapsed from the date of purchase OR if they are received either (i) after sixty
(60) days have elapsed from the date of purchase or (ii) after 30th May 2009.
- Except as otherwise required by applicable law, the Promoter shall not be liable
for the content of any externally linked web sites.
- Except as otherwise required by applicable law, the Promoter accepts no responsibility
or liability for lost, late, damaged, corrupted or misdirected applications and
the Promoter is not responsible for any late or misdirected delivery of the pre-paid
fuel payment card, except in the event of wilful intent on the part of the Promoter
or its agents.
- These terms and conditions are not a contract for the prepaid payment card between
you and the Promoter. Your receipt and use of the prepaid payment card will be governed
by a contract between you and Citibank on the Citibank’s terms and conditions that
you can find by clicking here.
- Except as otherwise required by applicable law, the Promoter accepts no responsibility
or liability for the performance of the prepaid payment card or the acts and omissions
of Citibank.
- Proof of posting shall not be deemed proof of receipt.
- Maximum of one claim per household. The promoter reserves the right to investigate
and withhold claims it believes to be of a fraudulent nature. Should a claim be
upheld as fraudulent the Promoter reserves the right to pursue damages against individuals
in connection with the claim.
- Please retain your original receipt as claim confirmations and supporting material
can not be returned.
- Claimants will be sent a PIN number and a TomTom pre-paid fuel debit card under
separate cover to the address supplied in the application form within 28 days of
receipt of a valid claim. Instructions and how to use your card will be supplied
with the card.
- Personal data provided by the participant to redeem this offer may be processed
by the Promoter within the European Union for the sole purpose of processing and
performing this offer, for (direct) marketing and quality control analysis, for
conducting market research and improving the Promoter’s products and/or services.
By clicking to accept these terms and conditions you consent to the processing of
your personal data in this way. The Promoter and its agents are responsible for
storing, processing and transferring the participant’s personal data and for registering
the participant’s consent to this. Participants have the right to obtain information
about their data and - if necessary - request rectification or removal of their
data held by the Promoter. Such requests should be made to the Promoter at the following

as to how Citibank may process your personal information please refer to
this document.
- These terms and conditions, and any instructions from the Promoter, constitute
the entire agreement between you and the Promoter, superseding any prior agreements
between you and the Promoter. If any provision of these terms and conditions is
found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the other provisions of
the terms and conditions will remain in full force and effect.
- By clicking the ["I agree"] button above (and entering the promotion) you agree
to these terms and conditions which will at that time become binding between you
and the Promoter.
- These terms and conditions shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance
with the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England will have non-exclusive
jurisdiction in the event of any dispute.
- The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or extend this promotion or amend these
terms and conditions without notice and any such cancellation or amendments shall
be displayed at www.tomtompromotions.co.uk.
